What happens next
We'll acknowledge your complaint promptly in writing. We'll send you our final response in writing within 8 weeks of receiving your complaint. If we can't do that in time, we'll write to explain why and tell you when to expect it. We'll also tell you that you can take your complaint to the ombudsman.
If you're still unhappy
If your complaint is about our claims management activity, you may be able to refer it to the Claims Management Ombudsman, which is part of the Financial Ombudsman Service. For example, this applies if we collected or passed on your details about a possible car finance claim. The ombudsman is free and independent. You can go to them if you're unhappy with our final response, or if we haven't sent it within 8 weeks. You usually need to contact them within 6 months of our final response.

Our other services are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. These include flight-delay, solar, insulation, hearing-aid, will-writing, lasting power of attorney and property lead generation. We'll still deal with complaints about them under this procedure, but the ombudsman may not be able to consider them.
